As of this moment (2:15 p.m., Sunday, February 17, 2008), I am one-fourth finished with Dragon's Bane, the second novel in a projected cycle set in the same world, if not all in the same time.
All these years to write here-and-there, bits-and-pieces, while also working on other projects, and now I get to see the dream start to come together.

Kudos on that. It's always a great feeling to see a dream or a goal come to fruition after a lot of hard work.
Are you done yet?
Well, the first novel is finished, and the second in progress. There is an acquaintance who is a writer/editor/agent who has been waiting a long time to read them, but he wants to do so when the second manuscript is complete.
Just kidding. I knew you were familiar with the question having worked with children. Daddy are we there yet? I hope your writing goes well. Have you seen Richard Cress?
Yeah, I figured you were messin' with me; I almost replied, "Can you hear me now?" (laughing)
I saw Richard Cress about a week and a half ago, when he and the writers group judged the essay contest for the Boys & Girls Club.
