This shot looks a bit like the screen saver on my Mac.
The following photo is of a bird that I tracked through the neighbor's fence. I took several shots of it, but deleted all but three. The darn critter wouldn't sit still for his portrait. (Or her portrait, as the case may be; I'm not an orthinologist.)

Yep, that's a bird. Or at least that's what it looks like. Nice sky shot. Later
Your shot of the bird is beautiful; don't worry about the fence.. it adds an interesting pattern and texture. Lovely shot of the fluffball dandelion.
Thanks for sharing the close up of the dandelion. Looks like a pic in a magazine! It's a cold wind in Indiana today though very sunny. In addition to Leighton's "The Accolade", I have his "God's Speed" along with Sir Frank Dicksee's "The Two Crowns". I enjoy them all. One of my piano student's mother thinks my living room looks like a museum.. haa haa. Sorry to say, I agree. :)
Thanks, Tex, for stating the obvious. Somebody's gotta do it, eh? (laughing)
Lavinia, the more I look at it, the more I like the fence. You're right: it does add an unexpected element.
Bach, I wish I had access to better equipment (and a few extra funds, bud don't we all?), because I'd like to produce some stationery, greeting cards, or calendars, maybe sell some photos to magazines. In the meantime, I settle for the hobby and experimenting with the craft.
Like that shot of the dandelion. Maybe I should try a close up or two with my digital cam. Nice detail though - and kudos on the Mac. The more I use mine, the more I like it.
Yup. Now that more and more folks have seen me using the Mac, they're asking questions, turning the monitor this way and that, more and more interested in possibly chucking the PC and going Apple. Never thought I'd be a computer missionary!
